I have read alot in these post about Sound Blaster Live Platinum being very buggy. And I've heard Game Theater XP is very good. BU twhat about their software bundles? I noticed teh Game Theater only comes with a few programs where as SB Live Plat has tons of stuff. Can some one help me deside? Do the software packages add anything? I will be running it on Win2k.

I don't use any of the software that came with my Live Platinum. It's installed, I just don't use it. What good is a software bundle if you don't use it?

If you're just interested in the software, then by all means get the SB. I must warn you that lots of people have had problems with the SB Live and Win2K. I've got a X-Gamer 5.1 that I'm going to be replacing with a XP. I want sound, not rice crispies.

Sarcasm maybe the recourse of a weak mind,
