High CPU Usage

So, I'm continuing a troubleshooting thread that led into CPU problems in the CPU Section. Original Thread can be found here... Computer Locks up while downloading

Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6750 @2.66Ghz (OC'd to 2.72GHz, first OC for me)
Asus P5E-VM HDMI mobo
6 gb Ram (2gb Patriot DDR2-6400, 4gb Ballistix DDR2-6400)
GeForce 9500 GT (1gb DDR2)
80gb Maxtor HDD (installing a 1tb Seagate Constellation ES tomorrow)

My CPU usage when using Flash Player ranges from 50-100%. I can't have more than one 1 other tab open. The culprit is Flash Player, as well as plugin container for firefox or Chrome. I haven't tried IE, but thats because I hate the way it runs and looks.

Any suggestions?

Flash unfortunately difficult to avoid! I found this article which makes interesting reading...

Make sure your flash plugin is up to date. That's about the only option you have.

He was helpful. Flash was a resource hog on my core 2 duo. But that was a year ago and I've since built an entirely new machine.

But there's always one pant pissing simpleton that posts in a year old solved thread.

Do us a favor and learn some proper forum Etiquette.
