Hey guys,
I was wondering what power supply would be the best for an i5 2500K and a Radeon HD 6950 custom built pc? I am aiming for a budget of about £30 but maximum £50. Thanks

More about : psu

Unfortunately you're not going to find a good option at the 30 price point, but there are some options in your budget:
1. XFX Core 550W: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-xfx-pro-series-core...
It's made by Seasonic and is a great little PSU with a 5 year warranty. I really recommend it as a great price/performance PSU in the UK.

Other options:
2. OCZ ZS 550W: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-ocz-technology-zs-s...
3. Antec VP550: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-antec-basiq-power-v...
4. Silverstone SST-50F-ES 500W: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-silverstone-sst-st5...

All of the below options are lower quality with the possible exceptin of the OCZ ZS and all of them have shorter warranties...3 years or less compared to the 5 years from XFX. The XFX is really worth the few extra quid.

The CX500 will work, but the XFX Core 550W is significantly better for not a significant amount of more money.

+1 to the XFX :)
