So I originally had a EVGA GTX 560 but now I have a HIS Radeon 6990. I was currently using the EVGA precision software,
that detects GPU temp, usage, fanspeed, and fps. Is there a similar program for Radeon cards?

If you using Win7, you can try searching for a desktop gadget under the name : GPU Observer. I use it too.

Yeah, MSI Afterburner is probably the best. It gives you manual fanspeed curves, overclocking, and just plain monitoring. It was made by the same guy as Precision apparently, it's free, and has many more features.
