While with the lower end cpu it may work, its not worth it compared to the 7750

That's a seriously weak PSU. Even the low end cards requires at least 300ish wattage with respect of any other components.

Then again, it depends what use you need the GPU for? If it's for gaming, I can't recommend any. If it's just for a better HTPC performance, you can try HD5450 Passive.

Maybe a 6670 or 7750(better option).

Those take lower power and should work with your power supply.

You have to keep in mind that you only have 192 watts of 12 volt power to work with. So lets hope this system is lighter on the cpu and other hardware.

EDIT, saw the cpu added. Thats an older system. so too much video card will just be held back by the cpu anyway.

To play at least CoD4 with medium settings, you'd also need at least -$80 cards from AMD. The Sempron will hold things back though, since CoD4 requires at least 2,6Ghz of dual cores. And the 2GB RAM if it indeed Dual Channel should help a lot, if it's Single Channel, things could get worse.

A 6670 will lighten things up by some degree, and with Sempron, it shouldn't tax your PSU too much. My best bet, you can play CoD at low-medium settings.

Not even in the slightest will you see any negative impact on a 1.0 lane with the 7750 and at leased with the 7750 you will be playing every game out on the market so long as you are ok with 30fps gaming in some of the higher end titles such as BF3 ect.

dude it very well uses 2.0 lane. there will be a performance drop of 4-7 fps max but 3.0 is out of ques it doesnt need 3.0 lane.
