You can get sound if you use a HDMI cable.

Both your xbox, and monitor would need HDMI connections. (I know the really old first gen XBOX's didn't, but your's more than likely has.)

EDIT: Never mind, just seen that the monitor you linked only has DVI, not HDMI.

If you want to be playing both XBOX and TV on one monitor, your going to need something with either:

VGA (for your PC), and HDMI (for xbox)
DVI (for your PC), and HDMI (for xbox)
HDMI (for PC), and HDMI (for xbox)

Or make sure you have a TV/Monitor with component cable connections (for xbox) AND a HDMI/DVI/VGA for your PC.

I don't plan on watching tv on either of these. I plan to have them like a dual monitor setup with the xbox one on the left and pc monitor on the right. I know I can just get speakers for my pc so I have sound there but I need a way to get sound through for my xbox
