AMD Athlon x4 Overclocked @ 3.6GHz
8gig DDR3 RAM
500watt psu
Radeon HD 6850

i get like 50 fps on lowest settings... and on highest i get about 25-30.

Running at 1980x1080 1080p.

Does this sound right...? i mean it seems a BIT low... i was expecting ATLEAST 40+ on this since i run BF3 ultra on 30+ fps.

You should be getting more than that, I get 60+ on the lowest settings.

I'm on an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5400+
4gig DDR3 RAM
Radeon HD 6770

Running the same resolution.

Now if I could get my load screens to load in under 5 minutes then I would be happy.

That does sound low. The following rig gives me 60-110 FPS in space combat, and 25-60 everywhere else.

Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.5 GHz
8GB DDR3-1333
Crucial Force 3 60GB SSD
MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 1GB @ 960 Mhz core

I'm definitely CPU bound, and get a noticeable hiccup when dismounting my speeder, which is probably why space missions perform so much better for me.

Edit: Forgot to mention, those framerates are with all settings maxed at 1080p.

I was running at high with a similar rig like aschamne and had 30+ fps more or less stable (except for warzones). You should have way better fps than that.

But SWTOR is just poorly programmed. For instance, enabling AA increased my FPS by a fair bit. :p
