How does this system look?

I want to be able to play PC games, but for now really just Diablo 3 with my 55in 1080p Plasma Tv as a monitor. How does this build look and will it all work together.

EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost)

Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W ATX12V v2.01 SLI Ready Power Supply

Total = $847

Any help or suggestions would be great!

  1. I wouldn't even consider a Rosewill psu , not a quality brand at all , they don't make thier psu they just put thier name on it so you don't really know what your getting.
The video card could be better , I'm guessing your on a tight budget but I would get a 560 or 560Ti instead.
The cpu could be the K version for $10 more and then you could overclock it.
After the rebate it would only be $10 more and you would have a decent quality psu.
As I had said for only $10 you can get the K version.
After the rebate for only $90 more you can get a much better video card.
    Or $35 more.
  2. Rosewill has some high end psu's, unfortunately the one you listed (your link is wrong too) isn't one of them.

I suggest at least a 80+ Bronze unit.

A 550ti is kinda weak for what your doing, you should consider a less expensive mobo and a better graphics card. If you don't plan to overclock or run multiple graphics cards, you don't need a Z68.

    Consider this:
  3. Thanks inzone I took your recommendations!
  4. Corsair doesn't make their own psu's either, they just put their name on it.......
