Im looking to buy a new system to run mostly games. Between September and December.

The system will have to last for at least 3 - 4 years.

I would appreciate any suggestions about the build i put together in a few minutes. My budget is $1800 - $2000

Intel i7 3770k

Intel P67BG-B3 Motherboard

Corsair Dominator 12GB DDR3-1600 Kit (3x4GB) - CL9 XMP + Fan

GeForce GTX 680 2GB

Corsair GS 800W

Seagate Barracuda 2TB SATA 6Gb/s

Corsair Hydro Series H80 Liquid CPU Cooler

I may have made a few mistakes so please correct me if some parts wont match.

Will this build play demanding games and be reliable?

Thanx in advance.

The Z77 boards are better then the p67 so why you don't have a look for one of these? the asus p8z77-V series has quite a nice selection!
And the z77 have a better overclocking possibility, running with less voltage! but only with the SB's. The IB's apparently are less good for overclocking.

I have a hard time recommending Ivy Bridge CPUs on desktops if overclocking or heat concerns are in the picture.

Recommend Corsair Vengeance, low profile, 8GB or 16 GB

DF-85 is great case......tho putting any PSU in it but the CP-850 w/ its 10.0 performance rating is a big mistake. The CP-850 is made specifically for the DF-85, 1200, P183 and p193. The PSU has less than 1% voltage variation on the 12v rails and ripple that is barely measurable.

For MoBo's, I like the Sabertooth and Pro models

The H80 gets outperformed by the Phanteks and runs much quieter.....and w/o the worry of what a leak might do to ya system.....I can see WC if there's a performance advantage..... but with no advantage and more noise, I just don't see it.

All the above being said....throw this advice out the window as it will be outdated by your September - December purchase date.
