Radeon color issues

i've worked through a few problems with this card already, 6670 that i just got. and i believe this is the last issue. so if i use the disk installation, the color and everything is fine, but i dont get all the 3d applications i get with catalyst. if i install catalyst, the display driver turns everything very dark, i can fix this on desktop but not on gaming, everything is too dark to be able to enjoy playing and it looks crappy if i set the contrast and brightness up high enough to be able to see. any help?
im trying previous driver versions, the second newest gives me the same color issue

ok so i've kind of found the issue. it seems to be the gamma is set too low, wich can be corrected on the desktop because the catalyst has a gamma control for desktop but not the display. it can be corrected in games that have gamma adjustment if it can be adjusted high enough. if it doesnt have gamma or it cant be adjusted high enough what do i do?

issue solved. i had to get the updated vga driver from asus, not amd. who knew
