Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg from habit but I have no preference.
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: intel cpu, well constructed mobo, ssd, mini-itx desktop size case ( lian-li/silverstone styles)
Overclocking: no
SLI or Crossfire: no
Monitor res.: 1920x1080
Additional Comments:
My most desired traits are small, extremely fast, and quiet. I put together a possible build. I love the simplicity of it, but not sure if it's too overkill. I like things running fast, so a little overkill was my goal.
I want to play FPS (BF, COD) online with no bottlenecks on my end causing lag, but I also don't need my graphics higher than default.
My questions abt this build are: Is stock fan okay if i don't OC? Is 300W the right amount of power (an online calculator recommended 294 but thats at 80%)? Is it possible the onboard graphics will be functional for my gaming requirements? If not, and i need a graphics card, can I get a power estimate and heat sink/cooler suggestion?
Alternative suggestions, thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance!
