Any word about the 7850 1gb version?

i read a couple posts about possibly a 1gb version of the 7850 coming out, for a lower price point. theres two 7850s on newegg now, but a quick search about the 1gb showed no updates.

think its still possible?

No ones going to know until a manufacturer either announces or ships one. pretty sure those 2 on newegg weren't there yesterday (thought the release was Monday) but I'd expect any 1GB card to come after there was a steady supply of chips and manufacturers had the time and resources to make one. I'd expect the priority to be on the 2GB card for a while.
