Can anyone share some ideas, I'm looking for budget gaming GPU for 100$ or below that can run the latest and coming games in medium to high settings as possible. By the way I'm using Phenom ii x4 965 at stock speed, and my PSU is 500w 80% efficiency Cougar St 500.

Inno3D GT440 1gb ddr5 $76
Inno3D GT640 2gb ddr3 128bit $100
Zotac GTX550 Ti OC AMP! 1gb ddr5 192bit Price $140
Zotac GTX550 Ti 1gb ddr5 192bit hdmi Price $132

Can someone explain the difference Zotac 550 ti OC AMP and Zotac 550 ti..

I'm also looking for a new monitor.. I've read that a video card will reflect on what maximum resolution that monitor can give you.

(The BenQ 21.5" and Samsung 20" almost same in price)
21.5" BenQ GL2250BK LED 1920x1080
20" Samsung S20A/B300 LED 1600x900

(BenQ 18.5 much cheaper than Samsung 18.5)
18.5" BenQGL930/950A LED 1366x768
18.5" Samsung S19A/B300 LED ( they don't put the resolution so I don't really know ).

I don't want to make a mistake by choosing a monitor and GPU so i need some advice, if you guys have a better idea please tell me.

Thank you!

Thanks for replying, from the GPU i can try to push $130.. My list in GPU is only optional thats why if you can introduce better GPU from my list then much better :)

Ok I'm now looking at PowerColor HD7770 1gb ddr5 hdmi same price with the Zotac GTX550 Ti OC AMP! 1gb ddr5 192bit
both have the same price here in my country the HD7770 and Zotac GTX550 ti OC AMP edition..

If you are going to choose between them specially they are now both in the same price in my country, what will you prefer me to choose and which is faster specially in the quality PowerColor HD7770 or the Zotac GTX550 ti AMP?

But all was made by PowerColor, is the powercolor makes a good quality of GPU?

Can my mobo handle that kind of GPU? please check my mobo..

Your motherboard is fine. Of all the choices the HD6850 is the best option you won't be displeased. I will not say expect 60FPS on BF3 Ultra and upped Tessellations but you will get a good balance between performance and quality with respectable settings.

Thanks, what can you say about the manufacturer PowerColor? I just recently read bad comments here, PowerColor is the only available in my place.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-131-374&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=6#scrollFullInfo

When you get the card discern between texture and effects. It is hard to notice the difference between High and Ultra textures with the naked eye. Tessellations and effects are what really hit your FPS. MSAA, FXAA, HBAO hurt frame rates.

I would say for 1378x768 or 16:10 res this card will run between high and ultra textures with maybe 2x or 4x MSAA/FSAA. You want to try get average rates around 35-40 FPS find the balance between textures and effects.
