500 GHz Frozen IBM CPU?

There is an article on a 500 GHz CPU that was recently slashdoted.

Although it seems reasonable 500 GHz @ 4.5 Kelvin (doing what? I'm sure it wasn't booting XP), there seems to be a pretty large mistake in the article.

Anyone else catch it?

BTW I have a Treo 650 8)

Edit: Obviously, I didn't notice this was posted already. Still noone commented on the mistake.

By comparison, 500 GHz is more than 250 times faster than today's cell phones, which typically operate at approximately 2 GHz

I guess it's just me :roll:
