Approximate Purchase Date: About 2 weeks

Budget Range: $600-$900

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Strictly gaming and web browsing

Parts Not Required: I need absolutley everything

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No Newegg unless it is cheaper including tax (I live in Tennessee so I have to pay tax at newegg)

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: Doesn't matter

Overclocking: Probably not, very slim maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Doesn't matter really

Additional Comments: Something that can run games like BF3, Diablo 3, and Skyrim at the highest settings possible in my price range.

Alright, this should do it for you...

Total before MIR = $840

There's a few parts I had to kind of settle on, like that i3 instead of an i5, to make it fit the budget. So if you had a few extra bucks to throw at it, there could be some serious upgrade made.

I have an internet cable. Would you recommend the Intel or the AMD build? I've been leaning more at Intel but I'm still not sure. Thank you so much btw

Hmmm, yah I think I actually like 7Ghosts i3 build better. Good call on the H61 mobo, I forgot those existed and nice catch on that 6950. I would make 2 changes to it though...

i3-2120
430 Watt Power Supply (650 Watt is massive overkill)

So something like this...

Grand_Admiral_K I saw the Rosewill Challenger as Tom's Recommended choice, but is the NZXT M59 a better buy?

I'm really no expert on computer cases, at all lol. But really as long as a case has an overall 4 or 5 star rating from at least a dozen people I assume it to be good enough. You also have to think that since the case is what is seen by everyone, it's important that the the person likes the look of it more than say one case has an extra fan mount.

Thank you guys so much. How would that setup do on BF3?

You should have no problem with everything set to high with low AA.

Thanks again guys. So everything in all of those builds is compatible right?

You know, since the graphics card got upgraded, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a bit better PSU. That 430 Watt would probably still work, but I would rather overshoot.

That has a 500 Watt Antec Earthwatts PSU. So yep, you should be good to go : )

Thank you once again Grand_Admiral_K!

One last question. Is there anywhere that has all of this besides newegg? The sales tax is almost $100 there and I can't find some of the stuff on NCIX or Amazon.

I'm from TN myself, so I understand your problem. Really, all you can do is order as much of what you can on Amazon and get the rest from wherever is cheapest. That will take off some of the tax at least.
