Use Windows Logon Screen but input username?

I was wondering if it was possible to user the windows logon screen but have
the user type in their username and password instead of just selecting it
from a list. I know this is possible from the Classic logon screen, but I
want to have custom logon screens, and I can't seem to find any custom
'classic' logon screens.
