Hello guys, I am going to buy a new gpu ,and I am pretty confused here I only got enough cash for HD 6950 or Gtx 560 ti --which one should I buy ?
I can also wait a month or two it doesn't matter.
-- will the HD 7870 be as the same price? and would it be a better card?
My current PC specs are

Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 (PCI-E 2.0)
2x2 Gb DDR3 ram
Athlon II x4 635 2.9 GHz
Gigabyte HD 3850 512MB
samsung 23" 1080P

-- will my CPU bottleneck my vga at 1080P?
I hope I can play games like Diablo 3 , Dota 2 , HON , NFS

Thanks in advance guys

Your PC will run fine. 7870 will not drop the price soon because is in the 6970 place and that's the price. You can buy the 7850 is at the same price like 6950.
The best deal now is 560Ti is 200$ after rebates.
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130604 224$ and 210$ after rebates.
MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127616 200$ after rebates
MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127565 205$ after rebates.

thanks again buddy,
One more thing
560 TI vs 560 TI oc vs HD 6950?
I am really confused here :S If they are all the same why I sacrifice the physics option then with the HD 6950?

@OP
HD 7870 is almost as powerful as the GTX 580, will come with a price range from $350-$380.
And yes your CPU will bottleneck any of those high end GPUs including the HD 6950 or GTX 560ti in such a resolution.

You should consider upgrading your CPU to something more powerful such as phenom II 975 or 980 BE. ( if they are still out there)

EDIT: a Factory OCed card will outperform a stock one, and you gotta mention what GTX 560ti are you going to have? The 448 core or the standard one?

It will be the standard one as I can't afford the 448 also I got a limited budget so I can't upgrade my CPU now also the only available option for me if I am going to upgrade later is the new bulldozer thing cause phenom x4 are no longer out there (My budget is choking me man)

Some of them is still available on newegg, Don't upgrade to bulldozer as the performance is tiny comparable to the previous generations, wat for that Piledriver it's said to be having noticeable performance.

HD 6950 is better than the standard GTX 560ti as u can see fom the benches above, the 448 version is almost as powerful as a GTX 570, HD 6970 is better than both.

Thx for your reply guys I think I am going to buy "GTX 560 TI OC" version if it was as the same price as HD 6950 and I will stick to my current CPU until I can find a good replacement .
