I am trying to come up with a computer build that I can use for school that I can one day easily upgrade into a gaming PC. This will be my first attempt at building a PC. I want a to start with a fast computer to run Pro-E Wildfire 4.0 a CAD program for drafters. And then one day upgrade it to handle most PC games, games like Diablo 3.
I'm thinking I want to use AMD because it is cheaper and believe I can still get great performance out of them. One in particular is AMD Phenom II Black Edition, but I don't know if I can can something cheaper and still get comparable performance. And I would like a white case with with ease expandability that's fairly cheap. But white isn't a neccesity as long as it looks nice.
Other than that I'm not sure what all I need so andly suggestions would be nice. I would like the price to be under $500 and under $400 wpuld be even nicer. Thanks for any suggestions.
