More about will gaming build work
  1. This topic has been moved from the section Opinions and Experiences to section Systems by Pyree
  2. Get the 500R. It is benchmarked to have better cooling.
  3. You don't need that big PSU and I wouldn't worry about a sound card unless you are really into surround sound.

    Try this:
    PCPartPicker part list:
    Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($349.99 @ Mwave)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.90 @ NCIX US)
    Asus P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($157.55 @ Newegg)
    Corsair XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($87.99 @ NCIX US)
    Crucial M4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($122.00 @ B&H)

    Asus BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer ($74.98 @ Newegg)

    Total: $1532.33
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

Maybe move up to a 256gb SSD?

Not sure if you want to OC or SLI/CF in the future?
