Gcard not detected

hi every one

i just bought a XFX 6770 HD and a cooler master 600w power supply after posting for help here

after i installed the card i got some beeping sounds, after tryong again now there are no beeping sounds but am not getting any display , i updated the bios to the latest available one . still no luck

this is my config :

DG41Rqi intel mother board
dnhmau2gc8fer1-a7-c 2gb pc2 - 6400u- 555 RAM----- 2 GB
INTEL core 2 duo E7500 2.93 Ghz 3mb cache
600 watt cooler master intex power supply
samsung 320GB 7200Rpm

can some one please point out what might be going wrong here. is the gcard faulty or does my mobo simply not support the Gcard........

there r no beeps now but the gcard just wont get detected ... the earlier beeps were for keyboard

Did you make sure that you connected the external power connectors to that card?
Or in this, one 6 pin pcie power connector?

The motherboard should support the card without any problems.

yes i connected the 6 pin power supply to the card ... and the card is powered on the fan is spinning ...it would not spin without the 6 pin power supply

i gave the card to a friend to check it out

any more suggestions in the mean time would be most helpful....

Did you see if it was working on your firend's PC?
We would be able to rule out if it's a problem of the video card itself.

it did not work in my friends PC too ..........

i gonna RMA the card ill ask u guys if i need any other help ...

I suggest you also change your power supply. It is a crappy power supply.

Don't be so surprised.
Most Coolermaster products aren't top of the line like they used to. If you go for a PSU, you should try to get a Corsair, Seasonic, XFX and so on. Coolermaster aren't too bad, but they're just not recommended these days. Their coolers and cases are great though.
But it should be enough to handle that card. I've got the same PSU as you do.
