Approximate Purchase Date: Soon as im happy with my build.

Budget Range: Close to the $1500 mark.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming and the occasional surfing.

Parts Not Required: Everything is required.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.techbuy.com.au ( Local, i've heard very bad reviews for the other shops near me, jb computers, mwave, MSY etc ).

Country: Australia

Parts Preferences: CPU and CASE below. ( cant get i5 2500k here anymore )

Overclocking: Yes - to a safe level?

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Highest res a 24 inch monitor can go?

Additional Comments: I want to get back into pc gaming, starting with the day z mod for arma 2. I'm looking for a build that will last me a very long time with only needing to upgrade the graphics card to keep up with all the latest titles in a couple years. The computer will be assembled by the shop, is thier anything to look out for when doing this?

This is what ive selected so far;

CPU - Intel Core i5 3570K Quad Core CPU ( Dont need i7s for gaming right? )

MOTHERBOARD - ASUS P8Z77-V PRO (selected after reading this article. )

GPU -ASUS GeForce GTX570

PSU - Corsair 650W Enthusiast Series Modular TX650M

RAM - Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 RAM - 9-9-9-24 - Vengeance Series

CASE - CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Midi-Tower Case - No PSU, Black

COOLER - CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo ( when i overclock to that safe level when my performance is lacking in a couple years. )

HDD - Western Digital 500GB Caviar Blue ( Plan on grabbing an SSD for windows and favourite game when i see a good one on sale. )

DVD BURNER - Samsung SH-222BB/RSBS DVD-RW - SATA, Retail

OPERATING SYSTEM - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - DVD, 64-Bit - OEM

Build total through this shop comes to $1581, not including assembly fee $40 which includes 3 Years Labour, Manufacturer Warranty On Parts - RTB. Third party warranty is available but its pricey and i dont know why i would choose it over the one included above.

All help is appreciated.

They might...I'm not sure. You can assemble a PC in less than an hour easy. There's literally thousands of how to vids on youtube. After you assemble it your going to think it was too easy.
