Help with a new build

Hello, im looking to build a new PC - Or purchase an already builst system - This week. Now i havent been around in the hardware scene for a while, so im a bit lost when it comes to it all (Its like starting all over again). Anyway, hope someone can help me

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP - This week - Birthday on Sunday

Budget Range: £400 - £500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Ripping Xbox games, Downloading, Streaming to XBOX 360, movie encoding, general use and some gaming if possible

Parts Not Required: Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, DVD drive

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: ANY!! Whatever is the best for value.

Country: England

Parts Preferences: Been looking at the Intel I5 - I7, Need some advise though really

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Not sure what this is so ill say NO

Monitor Resolution: Any

Additional Comments: Want a quiet PC as its located in my bedroom, Download speeds are slow in the UK, so its all 24/7, this includes when im trying to sleep lol, so need it quiet. I have 3 PATA hard drives at the moment which are all 180gb each and these are all FULL. So i need quite a bit of hard drive space as games and movies are not small these days
