it has a 2ms response time which is good iy is hd and 23 inches are there any better for a lower price?

They are 24" BenQ's. they were close outs at a Dell store here in Kuwait city where I am working on a contract (2 years, with 8 months to go) I got them for $127 a piece, not ASUS, but a good deal for 1920 x 1200 5ms monitors.

doing it over again, I would go for a high rez 27 or 30" IPS panel 2550 x 1440/1600. 3 monitors are a pain (sweet pain)

I have a VH238H (you listed a VS238H) and I am happy with it. Not sure what the difference in the one letter means, but like Jerreddredd said, ASUS is quality.

The difference is the respopnse time and resolution I think yours has a 5ms response time and mine is a 2 ms second response time.
