Palit gtx 460 hot?

ive noticed my gtx 460s temps go really hot on bf3 something like 85 to 90 degrees C is that safe for my card? and the fan is at full rpm and it sounds like a jet engine any help?

That's a 768MB VRAM card. Depends on how you have your graphics set in the game. BF3 is an intense graphic hog and I'm not surprised you have high temps with that video card. If you have a side panel case fan, that might help by blowing on the card,

it even does it in minecraft sometimes but im getting a new case with 3 case fans so it might be fixed
