Is ATI Radeon 4870 X2 HD still worth having?

I recently have decided that my graphics card is not up to par with what I like to do in gaming(full effects,everything all the way). IS this card worth having? What is the best and cheapest replacement?

And at what resolution do you play games at?
Considering it, the card very much still has a place in the high end level if I may say so.

The card very much is power hungry, and it doesn't support DX11.
I'd say a HD 6950 and up.
You may go for the HD 7870, if you've have got the money with you.

I wouldn't recommend you get another 4870X2, cause that will just make the whole system really power hungry.

If it is $300 then I'd say you go for a Radeon HD 6950 or a GTX 560Ti. A 570 can be taken too.

But if you just wait a little more time, it's best you get a HD 7870.
