Can graphic card be upgraded in laptops

I have a dell inspiron n5010 laptop having ati mobility radeon hd 5470 graphic card of 512 mb
and i want to upgrade it can it be done ???

No, laptop video cards are fixed and may not be changed, some models allow you to replace it, but it will probably only accept another equal graphics card, since laptops are made small, this makes the system much more heat, and normally laptops work at maximum heat/wattage allowed any other more powerfull video card would toast your system, so the only solution for upgrading your video card would be changing laptop.
