i have sblive 5.1 and i want to connect it to my home receiver, i have digital and coaxial connection on my receiver and i used a coaxial cable with a jack converter at the sblive end to connect and it did not work

any idea what cable to use ?

The cable on the back of the SB is not a coax cable but a mini cable, to use your receiver, you will need to buy their miniplug to optical addaptor, which sells under speaker wire accessories for $12.99. at http://www.soundblaster.com/accessories/cables/

If it works for you then don't fix it.

Did you get it work? I am having kind of the same problem. I bought toslink to miniplug cable but it is not working.
