PSU advice

I want a 700-750W power supply that will work with an i7 ivy bridge CPU and that is semi-modular/modular for around 80$ can anyone give me a good suggestion?

  2. What GPU? If you don't have a graphics card, then you don't need anything close to a 750W PSU.

    What graphics card will you be using?

    How important is modular to you?
  4. I will have 2 Radeon HD 7950's in crossfire, and modular is pretty important to me but if there is a non modular unit that is much cheaper (~60$) i'll take it into consideration.
  5. Corsair TX 850 v2. Never preferred modular. Cables all anchored, simple and easy.
  6. I suggest a PC P&C silencer 750.

    With cf, you are going to use most of the leads anyway, making modular not so important.

    two 7950 in CF? you will pretty much use every cable on the modular unit, you may as well just get a non modular unit. plenty of very good 750w units from xfx, corsair, seasonic, OCZ and antec are on the market at around $90-100
