Fx 8150 and heat

Hello, i have just changed my fx 6100 to the fx 8150 what are safe temps for the 8150 amd says 62c but i'm sure it's safe to go a little higher i was just playing bf3 and the temp got as high as 69c on core temp should i worry yet

I wouldnt personally like to have it above 70. At that point, I would invest either in a cooler or decide to use better thermal paste.

The FX chips run hot unfortunatly plus BF3 tends to have a lot going on even physics wise so i would sort of expect those temps.

Granted it mainly depends on what cooler you're using as well.

I have put my FX-8120 on a water cooling setup for that reason. I did not like going above 65c and the stock cooler just did not seem to do the job for me plus the fan was really loud when it would ramp up. With my XSPC 750 RS240 I get idle temps of 29c and full load temps of 35c running 4ghz on a 20x multiplier.
