No Ivy Bridge? Also, if you live near a micro center, you can get a core i5 3750k for 190, or a 2500k for 160, better price than newegg.

Get a Vertex 4 OCZ SSD instead. MUCH more reliable.
Drop the PSU down to 500W.

I'm kinda tight on funds right now and and without a microcenter around the best I could do was the 2500k for 205. I was looking at the 3570 but it was $35 more and I just don't have it right now. I did go with the biostar mb so I can upgrade to an Ivy later.

Not a bad idea this could free up some cash to go ivy but I wanted to be sure I had a good enough PSU for when I upgrade the CPU and Video Card.

ok so i swapped the i5-2500 for the i5-3570. The 3570 was 239 with a new egg 10 promo card. So it was 25 more than the 2500 but I save 35 by switching to the
