Looking for a gaming comp, $2000 budget

Before I start, I know this is probly in the wrong category. Sorry.

I am going to be using this computer primarily for streaming SC2. I have 3 different builds listed out here. Can you guys please tell me which one you think would be best for this purpose?

Build 1:
Intel Core i7-2700K - $320
ASRock Z77 Professional - $230
Corsair H100 Liquid CPU Cooler - $115
Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1600 MHz - $98
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 - $500
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - $120
Crucial M4 128GB - $130
ASUS DRW 24X DVD Burner - $18
ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 - $72
Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000W - $210
Corsair Obsidian 650D - $180

This is the build I am currently leaning towards, but there are two others I am considering. For this build my first upgrade will be to add another GPU for CrossFire, but this setup should last me at least a year (right?).

Build 2:
Intel Core i5-2500k - $205
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 - $122
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - $35
Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1600 MHz - $98
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 x2 CFX - $1000
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - $120
ASUS DRW 24X DVD Burner - $18
Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000W - $210
Corsair Obsidian 650D - $180

Here I go for better graphics performance, in turn degrading the mobo and CPU, dropping the liquid cooling, and dropping the SSD. I am not sure the CPU will be able to stand up to streaming HD SC2, especially with HOTSW coming soon. My first upgrade will be to the CPU, either upgrading it to i7-3770K or i7-2700K.

Build 3:
Intel Core i7-3930K - $590
ASUS P9X79 PRO - $310
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - $35
Corsair Vegeance 16GB 1600MHz - $98
Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti x2 SLI - $460
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM - $100
ASUS DRW 24X DVD Burner - $18
Cooler Master Silent Pro - 1000W - $210
Corsair Obsidian 650D - $180

This build offers maximum CPU performance, though I'm not sure I need that much. The graphics performance should be more than enough for SC2, but I'm not sure how future-proof it is. I also have to downgrade the HDD. My first upgrade here will likely be to add another 1TB HDD, cause I need that extra space.

Thanks everyone that looks over my builds, and if you would like to change any of them please do so! This is my first custom-built PC, so I don't know everything, but I have done a lot of tinkering around inside my old computers. I have added RAM, changed videocards, added more hard drives, and upgraded the cooler in my PCs.

Why not get a 2600k and a gtx 670? Then get a waterblock for the 2600k and overclock it.

Total fps (summing fps in each game @ 1920 x 1200) for the various options in parenthesis (single card / SL or CF) are tabulated below along with their cost in dollars per frame single card - CF or SLI:

GTX 680 - $ 500.00 ( 989 / 1578 ) $ 0.51 - $ 0.63
GTX 670 - $ 400.00 ( 917 / 1539 ) $ 0.44 - $ 0.52

7750 - $ 110.00 ( 291 / NA ) $ 0.38 - NA

In the table above for example, the Asus 670 Cu DCII TOP costs $420 each and gets 999 fps in single card configuration at a cost of $0.42 per frame and 1679 in SLI at a cost of $0.50 per frame. The AMD cards w/ NA did not complete all games in the etst suite. This should be resolved in an upcoming driver fix.

Thank you for the informative reply, but do you know where I could get a GTX 670? They aren't in stock on Newegg. Also, I plan on adding/upgrading video cards in the future, so are you sure I don't need a 1000w PSU? I have also heard that Ivy Bridge processors don't overclock as well as their Sandy Bridge counterparts. Thanks for the case+cooling recommendation, those were actually the two parts I wasn't sure about.

Thanks, this seems like a great build. Again, how well does Ivy Bridge overclock in contrast to Sandy Bridge? Would it be better to get a i5-2500k instead?

A GTX 680 doesn't cut. The GTX 670 is the smarter choice...
Put the save in your pocket or invest in a SSD.

It's near impossible to find a gtx 670 atm but we also know they will eventually be back on the shelves. If that means using your on die Intel HD 4000 graphics to surf the net on your brand new PC until those cards come back in stock then so be it. Don't sell yourself short for the quick buy and don't limit yourself to Newegg like the rest of the sheep searching for a gtx 670. NCIX (US site), Superbiiz, Tiger Direct, Amazon, and a few other sites get X amount of those cards to sell.
