560ti 2GB version v.s. HD 7850 OC, which should I choose

I am trying to build a PC for home use now. I have read most of the threads here but not sure which graphic card I should go for...

Looking at the 560ti 2GB v.s. HD 7850 OC 2GB......

My friend told me 'Nvidia is better for gaming blablabla...', is it true when you compare these two cards??

Can you give me some ideas about which one is better?

The 7850 can compete with a gtx 570 so definitely get the 7850. They overclock like a champ btw and only use like 110 W under load. The 7850 is simply amazing, and this is coming from a guy with a gtx 570 haha
