Why either of those? 560ti-448s are the same price as a 560ti, and almost as good as a 570 IMHO.560ti-448s are 240, 570s are 250. 480s do not support directx11, and while they have 1.5 Gbs VRAM, 560ti-448s and 570s have 1.25gbs VRAM, IMHO 570s are the best deal right now. Two 570s for $500 multiple monitors and can play ANY game on ultra with good FPS, granted at reasonable resolutions and reasonable monitor numbers. These cards I think will be good for roughly 3 years. Just my 2 cents, hope this helps Howtofall!

The 480 is dx 11 compatible. I just want to know without spending over 250$ how can I get the best performance and the 480 has more power than a single 560 tI is it more powerful than dual 560ti

With the immenent release of Kepler the prices are starting to fall a little bit and right now you can pick up a GTX 580 for under $400. To me that would be an upgrade from the 560Ti , and going from a 560Ti to a 570 or 480 is only one level up and to do an upgrade and get noticeable performance you should always go up two levels. The new Keplers will be out in a few days so at this point you could also wait and see what those cards will be. You should defenetly not be considering a 480 or 570 , that is not much of an upgrade. At the very least another 560Ti would give you a boost in gameplay performance. You could also consider AMD's cards which will be an upgrade and a 7950 or 7870 would give you better performance than a GTX 580. It would depend on whether or not you want to go with an AMD card.

Sorry but a single GTX 480 is not more powerful than two GTX 560Ti's and as a matter of fact the two 560Ti's are more powerful than a single GTX 580.

Thank u I wasn't sure on the exact kepler release dates so that is helpful I thought it was at least 8 months away and I have no preference of Amd or nvidia so I may go with an Amd thanks

Unless a new card has 25 to 30% better performance than what you have it's really not worth doing an upgrade because you just won't see much of a difference. If I'm doing an upgrade I want to see a big difference in fps and I really want to notice it on the screen. By going from a 560Ti to a 480 of 570 your not going to be seeing that much of a difference on the screen. Sure they might be better video cards but the 560Ti is a good card also. Since the new Kepler cards are just days away I would like a new card just like anybody alse , but I feel like I would be wasting money unless I'm going to notice a difference , there's nothing worse than getting a nice new card and putting it in and saying that it looks the same. I have the 580 and if the benchmarks come out that there is a 30% performance leap with the 680 then I'm tempted to go for the new card , but if it comes out with a 15 to 20 % increase then I'm waiting for the next series.

The cheapest 560ti on newegg right now is 210 after MRI, and its EVGA they are pretty good about MRIs. IMHO for $40 dollars more a 560ti-448/570 is a much better upgrade than a 480 or a 560ti. But if money is no problem, 580s are good buys, now 1.5 or 3gb? Decisions decisions....

But wait for Kepler, supposed to be 500, AMD and Nvidia will have price wars and the cost of everything will drop even more, I think its supposed to be out this week, next monday. Non of the release dates are official, but it is extremely 99% likely to happen in the next few days.

Price 250$ after selling the 560ti if I get a new gpu it will probably be a triple screen display. None of this is final as over time I may be able to spend more money and I only have 1 screen but I will get at least one more monitor but preferably 2 new monitors also I don't want to get a new psu right now I have a 700 watt psu and a phenom 2 processor

AT this point we would only be guessing and there are a few card makers that would be involved so the prices would be up to what they want to do , either a rebate or a sale of some kind. Right now we're seeing up to a $30 rebate on a lot of cards and that could be continued up to and past the Kepler release. After the release there could be a lot of models under $200 rather than just a few.
