While attempting to install Windows 7 on a new G1.Sniper 2 motherboard based system all I see is 'no HDMI input detected'.
I am installing from dvd in the Blue-Ray drive.
The monitor is connected via an HDMI cable to the motherboard for the time being as the graphics card driver is not installed yet.
I press 'delete' while starting up.
What am I doing wrong?

You should connect the HDMI plug to the graphics card. There are basic default drivers in Windows that should allow installation of Windows. Once you get Windows loaded, then you can install the dedicated drivers for your graphics card.
