Computer Build Review

Last response: in Systems

Hey, I'm trying to throw together a decent gaming computer for a decent price. I also want it to be Mac OS compatible. This current build is the very top of my budget range, so if I could cut costs somewhere it would be awesome as well. This is what I've got so far. Thanks!!

CPU Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Memory A-Data XPG Gaming Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Hard Drive Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card EVGA GeForce GTX 570 1.25GB Video Card

Case Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply Antec 650W ATX12V Power Supply

The build looks good and if you intend on doing any overclocking on the cpu you need to get the 2500K model instead of the 2500. Also I'm not sure on the Mac OS compatability, are you trying to run both Windows and Mac ? If your just running Mac OS then the components have to be Mac compatable and they do make special components for a Mac. Like the video card has to be flashed to Mac software.
