Computer Build Review

Hey, I'm trying to throw together a decent gaming computer for a decent price. I also want it to be Mac OS compatible. This current build is the very top of my budget range, so if I could cut costs somewhere it would be awesome as well. This is what I've got so far. Thanks!!

  1. The build looks good and if you intend on doing any overclocking on the cpu you need to get the 2500K model instead of the 2500. Also I'm not sure on the Mac OS compatability, are you trying to run both Windows and Mac ? If your just running Mac OS then the components have to be Mac compatable and they do make special components for a Mac. Like the video card has to be flashed to Mac software.
  2. Yeah, I've just been checking to see if the parts will work. I do want to run both Mac OS and Windows though. Is there anything you could suggest to save a few bucks with this build?
  3. I don't know how much you are looking to save but while I like the GTX 570 and would hate to see you change it , you could go with a GTX 560Ti and save a few bucks there and if you are only going to go with one video card and have no intentions of SLI then you can also save some with a different MB.

This psu has a rebate to make the final price $59.99 and is 600w which will give you enough power for your needs.
