Window 7 is an enemy of XP...

Hello,
I'm told it's simple BUT, I can not access my files or even do print sharing using my new W7 laptop, with files and printer hardwired into the XP desktop..

HELP!!!

Unless you disable password protected sharing, Windows 7 will expect the all XP machine's User Accounts to have passwords. Disable that requirement in Network and Sharing Centre where you should also dump the Homegroup and stick to conventional Networking.
