USB 2.0 and 3.0

I Personally know that the USB 3.0 is backwards compatiable with a USB 2.0....but will a Pendrive or a keyboard or a Mouse work with a USB 3.0...( Since I have only two USB ports in the front and Both of them are USB 3.0..........any help appreciated
