Quick Question Conroe = Core 2 right?

I haven't built an Intel system for quite awhile and haven't been keeping up.

I am guessing Conroe is the codename for the micro architecture used in the new Core 2 CPUs?

Am I right? or is Conroe something more/different. Mabye CPU's + new chipset design?

Anyway I would appreciate it if someone could set me straight on this.
