MSI HD6850 DDR5 OC version
Corsair 650TX psu
8 gigs of GKSILL Sniper 1866 ram
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB hdd < future wil be ssd
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO < because stock one was junk
Plextor L890SA DVD burner

How will this perform during my gaming?

It's good. The GPU is a bit underwhelming for modern games and yes, the i5 would have been more powerful for most applications.
