I'm working on a new gaming build. I'm going to start off with a Radeon 7950. I may crossfire in the future. Would a 750w power supply be enough for two cards? If so I'm going with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087. It's currently on sale at newegg for $109.99, after all discounts are applied.

you should be okay depending on how many other devices you are connecting. DVD plus two HDD. If you are planning on Overclocking, you might want to go up to a 850 - 1000W

single card recommends 500W with 2x 75W PCIe connectors

two cards should use about 650W

I am with the above poster. /\

That newegg psu calc says 375 for my media center, yet it have never pulled 200 from the wall(about 140 watts peak with Just Cause 2). That system works fine with a 300 watt power supply

Gives 503 for my primary system that has yet to pull 300 from the wall. This system has a Corsair 850(damn its overkill)

Hell I want one of those newer Seasonic or Seasonic based units with hybrid fan since it would almost never need the fan :)
