1GB 4670 enough to play Skyrim and Trine 2?

Hello, I need a graphics card for my living room's computer, but I don't want to spend a fortune on something I won't use everyday. I decided on a 4670.
Specs:
AMD Athlon X2 250
8GB of RAM (DDR3 1333Mhz)
CoolerMaster 350w PSU
17" Monitor @ 1280 x 1024
Can I run it?

I had the exact same card but with a lousy CPU and it ran skyrim...barely. Maybe you can run it half decently on low settings.
No idea about trine tho

I've been running Skyrim on my 4670, at medium/high settings 1680x1050 quite happily. Slight loss of fps in a few locations where there are lots of candles for some reason. I'm thinking of moving the 4670 out to my 2nd PC, kinda like a hand-me-down. Looking at the nVidia GTX 550 as a budget replacement.

My PC with the 4670 (at the moment) is:
Athlon quad core 940,
6GB ram,
twin dell 24" both at 1920x1080.

My 2nd PC is...
Athlon X2 dual core 2.6Mhz,
4GB ram, with a (wait for it...) nVidia GT7300 !!! driving my 42" HD TV at 1920x1080.

BUT that runs Skyrim too, although on totally minimum settings at 1280x800 and pretty badly. Hence the hand-me-down.

So yeah I've no problem running Skyrim on my 4670, although its not Ultra settings.

£109 GBP about 4 years ago. get em a lot cheaper now though of course, but I'd recommend getting a newer one for the same money.

Oh no no, i certianly do not want one, for the price they are now i could get a 6770 which is a far far superior card, I was just interested if you had just bought it recently in which case i was going to suggest that you return it

lol - yes I would certainly NOT recommend buying one now. much better cards available. but if you've got one, it will still play Skyrim fairly well.

If you don't fancy getting another card, there are peformance mods on that Nexus site which can make things smoother for you.
