Approximate Purchase Date: A few months i guess.

Budget Range: 500 to 520. (please post before and after rebate)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies

Parts Not Required: OS, Monitor

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country: united states

Parts Preferences: AMD Build please.

Overclocking: Might a little.

SLI or Crossfire: I dont think so.

Monitor Resolution: High i guess.

Additional Comments I want alot of room in the case, i will be upgrading this but like in a year so alot of room.

nununu, here is a build you might be able to deal with for about 500, no case though.intel g840- 90$

WD 500GB 7200 RPM- 80$

subtotal- 500$

cases are easy to find, even scrounge your current one if you want, or spend an extra 40$ and buy a cheap rosewill case.

yea my build can play just abotu any modern game, maybe not at maxed setting with 150 fps but it can play just abotu anything with maybe 40+ fps on high settings, depends on the game but that is just an estimate, on modern games, older ones, much more performance than that. think minecraft @ 160 fps maybe? its basicly the same build im going to be using when i get the money.

the pentium g840 can play games better than almost any stock phenom II, for liek 40$ less.... not kidding phenoms can't compete like they used to.. and you can get a lto of things on my build that are cheaper or (with the saving sfrom going with a cheaper (and almost equally powerful) pentium went into a very nice motherboard and other parts.

^ plus one. (G840 is 10$ less and only 100mhz difference, may as well spend it on say a slightly fancier motherboard, or maybe some extras like fan conrtolls or extra fans or a optical drive which wasnt included. in Prox's build
