Hello,
When I try to boot up there is a message that says SATA Primary hard disk drive failure. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run te setup utility. I hae done both to no avail. I do not know what to do when striking the F2. I can't reverse to an earlier date because I can't boot up. Is there anything I can do?

It appears to be telling you that your HDD failed. Hopefully you maintained backups of your important stuff so you can recover some of it when you replace the HDD.
You might try tapping on the drive a bit on the off chance that the motor froze temporarily. You may get lucky, but I doubt that's the issue.
