Rebate within 8 days?

Darn it!!!! I was so focused on building my system for the first time that I forgot about sending the rebate forms.

I'm trying to get a rebate for Asrock Z77 Extreme4, and it says that it has to be postmarked within 8 days of invoice date.

Does anyone know if this is just 8 days or 8 business days? I'd ask Asrock but I'm worried that they might take too long to answer.

I purchased it on 14th, and today's a holiday in Canada, so I can't send it today(I believe all shops where I can purchase stamps from are closed).

Well, I'm going to send it anyway, but I just wondering if anyone knew so I can have a peace of mind and not be anxious

You should look at rebates as a lottery. If you like the original price, fine. If a rebate ever comes (my success rate is close to 50:50) - even better.

You should expect rebates to be denied, even if you do everything right. They are a bait and switch, and although some companies are OK a lot are looking to sucker you in then find a reason to deny it. if they really wanted a sale they'd have an actual one. if you actually violated the rebate requirements I'd evaluate your chances of getting it as about 0. of course send it in. just don't count on it
