>HELP< Power supply too small to fit case

I have recently purchased a new power supply, and it is too small to fit my case.
There isn't any extra screw holes to install a smaller power supply, so I was wondering if there was some type of adapter that could allow it to fit? (a metal plate that attaches to the slot for a power supply and leaves a smaller slot?)

What computer and what PSU did you get, you could return it and get the right size.

The computer was bought ages ago, prebuilt, and has been heavily upgraded since then... I have no idea what it is apart from an abomination of nature.

Yes, returning the PSU is a worst case scenario, but I suppose I will have to go with it...
Its a BeQuiet! 300 watts.

Take the old one in when you return the new one, they should be able to find one that will fit.
