RAM and Motherboard suggestions for new build

Hello there all, I'm still contemplating a new build, and I had a quick question pertaining to the motherboard and RAM I was going to choose; I was browsing the compatible memory for the Asus P8Z68-V LX on the Asus website, and found something a bit odd. I'm planning to start my first build, and wanted to go with the Corsair Vengeance line of RAM, but I didn't see it on the compatibility list. Does anyone know if these two will work together?


Alternatively, does anyone have any other motherboard suggestions in a similar price range?

I'd recommend 1.5V 1600MHz RAM with smaller heatsinks. I prefer G.Skill and Corsair.

You can go with the larger heatsink versions - but they don't do a whole lot. Also, make sure if you do choose a large heatsink version, you check that it will clear any aftermarket CPU cooler you get.

Thanks for the recommendations, and since I'm not overclocking as of just yet, I think I'll be fine with the stock heatsink fan.
