Core Temp says ~50, pop up says 65c.

Running Prime95 to test capabilities. Core Temp read all processors around 50c other popup (assuming Asus) says exceeding 65c, which is right? Anything past 62c on my CPu (AMD FX 8150) is badnews I hear. The mobo (Asus M5A97 Evo) and its BIOS are all up to date.

Is Core Temp right or is Asus right? Should I be worried and how do I fix it?

Edit: I forgot to add this picture as well -

  3. Hmm, I wonder why your CPU temperature reported by your motherboard is always higher than your CPU core temperatures. Even at idle it reads 41C versus 24C so I wonder where that sensor is picking that extra heat from?...

Edit: You might want to not show your IP address incase there are mischievous people here.
  4. Didnt even realize I was showing it.. thanks.
  5. Maybe its a voltage issue? What should my voltages be set at/how do i change them?
  6. If it's under motherboard control then your motherboard should automatically adjust the voltage as it needs.
