Core Temp says ~50, pop up says 65c.

Running Prime95 to test capabilities. Core Temp read all processors around 50c other popup (assuming Asus) says exceeding 65c, which is right? Anything past 62c on my CPu (AMD FX 8150) is badnews I hear. The mobo (Asus M5A97 Evo) and its BIOS are all up to date.

Is Core Temp right or is Asus right? Should I be worried and how do I fix it?

Hmm, I wonder why your CPU temperature reported by your motherboard is always higher than your CPU core temperatures. Even at idle it reads 41C versus 24C so I wonder where that sensor is picking that extra heat from?...
