A few months ago I asked the community for input on my $1000 homebuild, but decided to wait for Ivy Bridge. Now that Ivy Bridge is out, I am ready to build my latest system. What do you guys think of the specs I picked out?

CPU: Intel i5-3570k - $240

Mother board: ASRock Z77 Extreme6 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - $170

Memory - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 600 Desktop Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL - $47

GPU: I plan on using the CPU onboard video for the time being

HD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM - $110

SDD: Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $150

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High - $75

Case: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower - $55

DVD Burner - ASUS 24X DVD Burner Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS - $18

Total Cost (before Taxes and Shipping) - $865

Approximate Purchase Date: Next 3 months, willing to wait for price drops
Budget Range: ~$1000
System Usage: Photo editing and movie viewing connected on my TV. I'd like to run my OS off a SSD
Parts Not Required: OS (running windows 7), Keyboard, monitor, mouse and speakers
Current Monitor: Dell 2408 with 1920x1200 pixels resolution
Overclocking: Possibly
SLI or Crossfire: No

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I want to do this right, so I don't have to worry about upgrading it for awhile.

If you're willing to wait 3 months for price drops, you can be guaranteed that the price of hard drives is going to go nowhere but down. They're about double the normal price right now, and were triple the normal price 6 months ago.

That Antec 300 is a great case for the money, can't go wrong with it.

$75 is an outrageously high price for a ModStream 600W; you can usually find it on sale for $50 or less at Newegg, and in fact that is the case now: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017

You can also probably get away with a 550W PSU even after you add a video card, and save yourself a few more bucks: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341047

There is no need for a $170 motherboard if you don't plan on using two video cards in crossfire/SLI. I'd look more in the $80-$120 range.
