What GPU should i get in order to run BF3 at high settings ?

Hello, Im looking for a GPU that can run BF3 at high settings.
My cpu is intel(R) core(TM) 2 Quad CPU Q6700 @2.66GHZ and i have a 22-inch monitor.Can someone advice me on what to get?

what is your resolution? hd6870 ot gtx 560 is what you need if you play in 1920*1080.. 7770hd is a good choice too.

if it is a coolermaster extreme power plus 550w psu, you should upgrade to a better psu like corsair builder cx 500 v2 or seasonic s12ii 520w or antec neo eco 520c. then get a gfx card like geforce gtx 560ti / 560ti-448 cores or higher or amd's radeon hd 6870/6950 or higher. bf3 loves using video memory so aim for a t least 1 gb gfx card, 2gb would be better. you can consult this article on how different gfx cards perform on bf3 (single player).

multiplayer would require more powerful cpu. you could oc your cpu with a good cpu cooler to improve mp performance.

That CM PSU may be enough for a HD6870, but nothing more. That GPU should run BF3 on high settings. The HD7770 uses even less power, but is generally weaker than a HD6850.
