Hello,

So I'm looking at buying the GTX 560 ti, but I don't know which manufacturer to buy from. I want to overclock, and I heard the MSI was good for that. Take a look:

EVGA:

MSI:

The MSI runs cooler, but the EVGA has better reviews. Which would you suggest? I'm on a budget, as well, so preferably no $250 cards. I am also looking at reliability of the rebates. I'd like the fan to be very quiet, as well.

Thanks!

the msi will oc better but you might have to deal with RMAs. Don't put too much weight on newegg reviews though.

Basically msi is a great and innovative company that lacks proper QA. EVGA cards are less likely doa. usually anyway.

edit: here's a review on the card: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/msi_gtx560_twinfrozr_2/

I have an MSI and its great. Stays very cool with its heat sink design. I have it with a zotac for sli and it is the top card and still stays around idle of 26-27c and load of about 65-67c (with say BF3 maxed out).

^as he said:

Pretend all rebates are scams and just be happy when one comes through. They all outsource their rebates to third party companies anyway.

For RMAs you use newegg. If it's over the one month, EVGA will have better service.

But if the twin frozr isn't DOA it should last a long time. It will also oc better.
